Don a hard hat and miners lamp, descend 61 metres beneath the surface of Bendigo and walk in the footsteps of past miners. Experience a guided tour through the underground tunnels. It’s advisable to wear close toed shoes and take a jumper on this tour as it gets quite chilly underground. Be sure to have your camera charged, you will want to remember this adventure! Once back to the surface explore the museum with its vintage gold panning and mining machinery.

Bendigo Joss House Temple –
At the heritage listed Bendigo Joss House Temple you can discover more about Chinese beliefs and the story of the Chinese who came to Bendigo in search of gold. The Bendigo Joss House Temple, a Chinese place of worship, was opened in 1871. Originally part of the Ironbark Chinese Camp, it is one of the few remaining buildings of its type in Australia.
